Kleinheubach, 12 May 2025 — Green Petfood, a brand that is part of ERBACHER the food family, is undergoing a strategic realignment and introducing a new packaging design for its dog and cat food range. The revised brand strategy aims to further emphasise the focus on modern animal nutrition. The new packaging design will be available in stores from the beginning of June. The complete transition will take place gradually by the end of September. Trade visitors were given a first glimpse of the new design and range at Zoomark in Bologna from 5 to 7 May.

Green Petfood has once again been certified as a GREEN BRAND, which makes it four in a row already. This seal of quality is awarded to companies that go beyond superficial claims by actively pursuing and demonstrating their sustainable principles.

For ten years now, the Green Petfood team has been pursuing its great mission: to provide dogs and cats with sustainable, wholesome food. And with successful results: as demonstrated by the announcement that this year the company has received Germany's most important accolade for commitment to sustainability — the 2024 German Sustainability Award in the "Animal fodder and pet food" category.

Green Petfood has been successfully certified as a GREEN BRAND for the second time. Back in 2019, the brand was one of the first companies in the pet segment to be given this award.
